Hykops ("we", "us") operates AidGens and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share personal data in compliance with Morocco's Law 09-08 on the Protection of Individuals with regard to the Processing of Personal Data, and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. Data We Collect
We may collect:
- Account data: name, email address, company name, phone number
- Usage data: log files, feature usage, API call metadata
- Payment data: billing address, last four digits of payment card (full card details are handled by our payment processor)
- Communications: messages sent through the Service, for the purpose of delivering the Service
3. How We Use Your Data
We process your data to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Process payments and send billing communications
- Respond to support requests
- Comply with legal obligations under Law 09-08 and applicable regulations
4. Legal Basis for Processing
Where GDPR applies, we rely on:
- Contract performance — to fulfil the subscription agreement
- Legitimate interests — for service improvement and fraud prevention
- Legal obligation — to comply with Moroccan and applicable international law
- Consent — where explicitly obtained
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Sub-processors necessary to operate the Service (e.g., cloud infrastructure, payment processors)
- Law enforcement when required by Moroccan law or a valid legal process
6. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period thereafter as required by law. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 8).
7. International Transfers
Where data is transferred outside Morocco, we implement appropriate safeguards consistent with Law 09-08 requirements for cross-border transfers.

Under Law 09-08 and GDPR (where applicable), you have the right to:
- Access, rectify, or erase your personal data
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability
- Lodge a complaint with the CNDP (Commission Nationale de contrôle de la Protection des Données à caractère Personnel) in Morocco
